Is't right time for H1

Hi, I have around 9 years experience in Information Technology. I know current situation at US, but some how my conscience strongly suggest me to go for H1. Could you please suggest me, should i go ahead for H1. thanks in Advance, Prashanth

It will be quite difficult to predict what will happen in the next six months to US Economy and Jobs. Market may improve significantly by October. We are left with only three weeks to file for the H1B’s. I believe this is the right time to file H1B because this year it might not be a lottery system as always.

The global meltdown affected the entire world and led to job lay-offs. So even if there is less number of applications compared to previous years, the quota of 65,000 may get filled easily. So I strongly recommend to file H1b cases on April 1st, 2009 itself, Good luck.
