I am working on L1 visa in US. If another employer files for my H1B visa and my H1 gets approved, how will this affect my L1 status?

If your H1B employer is cap-subject, then probably the H1B employment start date would be October 1st. If the H1B is filed with a request for change of status, you will automatically be on H1B as of October 1st, i.e., you will no longer be on L1. If the H1B is filed without change of status, then you will continue to be on L1 until you leave the US, get the H1B stamped, and come back on H1B.
