| Getting an H1B visa for a nurse is difficult mainly because H1B visas are issued for "specialty occupations" and nursing does not qualify as a "specialty occupation" because in the US one does NOT need a Bachelor's degree to qualify as a Nurse. But if it can be "proven" that the position needs a BS degree (Nursing Superintendent, for example), then it may be possible to get an H1B approval. |
