But she wanted them so we got her a pair as a gift.Within a month one shoe no longer lights up and she's embarrassed to wear them now.The thing is, she got a pair of Heelies from her gran, also for her birthday, and she ALWAYS lifted the Heelies to put on first, so I would recommend you get your kids those, rather than light-up shoes that only light up for a few weeks.They should, at the very least, have a battery compartment you can get into to replace the batteries, seems ludicrous to sell something as expensive as this with such a woeful design flaw.Updated to add: my daughter now refuses to wear these because they don't light up. So, what was supposed to be a fun birthday gift has turned into an expensive waste of money.AVOID!
no problem with the sneakers,just the fit! i bought these for my granddaughters 7th birthday and she has size 13.5 feet. ordered this size and they are huge!! shoul Rome od looking, well made, fun shoes. The flash is much too bright for my liking and CANNOT be switched off. There are certain times, like on theatre trips, when it would be useful if they could be deactivated.I personally feel it is a gimmick too far - shoes don't need lights or wheels - but my girls absolutely love them and have had great fun dancing in their Grandma's dark hallway and at the school disco. Otherwise these shoes are quite impractical and quite pricey.On the plus side, I got my older daughter the lace-up version and they have given her a great incentive to master tying her own laces.

There is a hard toe to protect the front of the foot. The laces were easy to tie and tightened well. The sole is fairly thick for a walking shoe, giving good protection for the foot.My daughter , who has tested these, has not yet had the opportunity to try them in wet weather, but the grip looks good – better than her previous walking shoes, which were more expensive. The shoe has plenty of breathable mesh, which is good if your feet get a bit hot, although made my daughter a bit doubtful that they would stand up to a real downpour .

not the best quality but certainly a bit of fun. Got them for my sone who ward, the laces are a bit too short to comfortably lace the last loopholes (the ones many people leave unused) to keep my heels better anchored in the shoes.I don't think I would have identified these problems if I had bought the shoes offline. Sometimes you just discover these things as you break the shoes in unfortunately. So all-in three stars feels about right.
Bought these after filling in my details on the Runnersworld website. They are recommended for heel strike heavy running styles and also for the *ahem* larger runners amoung us.The support is great and the shock absorption in the heels feels incredible. For now I give them 5 stars. Will update if anything changes
I am by no means a running expert, these are only the second pair of dedicated running trainers I have ever bought. However they fit well and I've had no problems with them during my road running
I was a bit hesitant at spending this much on running shoes but it was definitely worth it. Great cushioning makes for a more comfortable run and I know ASICS are built to last.
Found that the inner sole rubbed my heel and was uncomfortable. Thought www.theexpedition.org ut indoors. So i guess the test will be when running around at school in them!!! All in all, look very smart and comfy. And a happy child.
I purchased these as I find my Skechers Trainers the best shoos I have to wear. These are comfortable but when walking I feel there is not enough osupport at side of feet - whtend to go over on my foot a lot with these
My granddaughter loves these shoes and this is the second pair I've bought her for school. They are so comfortable and trendy, the wedge heel gives support yet she still thinks she wearing heels! Fast delivery and a good price. Would recommend them.

(which was what I was hoping for)My child finds the heavy, thick ankle surround on most trainers very uncomfortable, this being canvas, is very light and easy to slip on and walk in. It was a bargain at ￡13!

I just got these shoes and tried then out today. What great value and so comfortable too. The side clips are so much better that just Velcro.
First time bike shoes and these fit great and the adjustment is easy. Fitted with the shimano cleats they really do the job well and look amazing.
Excellent stiff comfortable roa Babyliss Pro Perfect Curl en difficult for the past 3 years,to find anything remotely comfortable,but I still try.Anyway,I bought these DEK before the High Street pair,that have been,wait for it> surpisingly comfortable.When the DEK pair arrived today I was disappointed straight away.Not with the size,but the comfort.I find the sides are very high,stiff and unyielding (although that could soften given time)so I am going to plod on and keep them and try to get used to them come what may.I asked my husband to weigh them against the High street purchase,and he found little difference which surprised me.I have a horrible fluey cold at the moment,so I cannot be too accurate in judgement now.However,once this flu and the hateful cold weather have ended,I may feel better about the trainers in general,I will wear them around the house and garden in the meantime.I will revise and edit this this review once I feel things are looking up in the foot department!!
Ok if they'd done half sizes I'd have been a 51/2, but that's what thick socks are for. But they are so comfortable round my foot I'd forgive that. I supra schuhe increasing range of brighter colours (as per the turquoise and lime green ones I ordered here). Really warm too.
